Hacking Is This Fixable? - Messed Install

dude said hes never done a cyclowiz install before. At the end of the day this thing has been a pain in my back for ages now! I just want it all back in its case working perfectly and reading backups.

Its exactly the same as an WiiKey.
Only difference is that the WiiKey requires one solder point more that the CycloWiz becurse of the way its dvd upgrade function is made

cool....just spoke to the modder and he said he'd fix and put a wiikey in for £50. Im not fussed bout the chip being swapped cos theyre all the same really so llooks like i got 2 cyclowizs to sell.

Often, when you take something to a repairman, to have a problem fixed ... a problem that was caused by going to an incompetent tradesman in the first place ... they will often over-charge you, so as to teach you a lesson ... the lesson being, "Go to the right person, the first time."

If he's afraid of soldering a cyclowiz, find another person. It's one of the most easy to install modchips around..

but its fixable right? I've sent a picture of the damage to the modder im hoping to take it to tuesday and hoping he can sort it out.

I've fixed worse. I remember one time, one of my buds who was into modding as well had modded his own Wii. It was his first time with the Wii but wow did he ever make a mess. There was solder all over the board, one of the wires he was using was completely stuck to the DVD drive, and on top of that he burned his hand so bad he had to go to the ER (

). I managed to get that one fixed up with lots of patience and LOVE. Ha ha.

Yours should be fine tho but I wouldn't go to that modder for anything ever again!

The cyclowiz is just the same as a WiiKey install just missing one solder point

Its the EXACTLY same place and EXACTLY same points.

50£ for af fix of that plus a wiikey is a ripoff.
You could get a D2C modded for that price.

Plus, i think he does wiikey clones. So the price of the modchip is like 1 or 2 usd

lol.....i has done something similar (have no idea of soldering), when i tried to install wiikey on dms, and soldered 2 pads together, then i took a knife and tried to separate like crazy...for god's sake, i don't recomend it to people whi have no soldering "experience", i'll use the wlip thing instead..

Dont use the wlips.
They are unproffesinal and it only worked for a few people
