I personally think it's a coincidence.
I'm not talking about Brazilian thingy (that I already knew about a looooong time ago but was afraid of using WUPInstaller), I'm talking about the other things which popped up out of nowhere!

redNAND user-friendly, Haxhi and contenthax, RetroArch, etc...

How did all those come out around the same time?! That was really surprising! :O

Anyway, it's really good to see the Wii U hacking scene progressing.

The Wii U HAS the potential to do a lot of things, it just lacked 3rd-party support AND homebrew developers.

I mean, most Wii U developers are not as interested in making new things as the Wii developers.

For example, there was a game called Super Mario War, it was ported to Wii by someone, I'd like to see it get ported to Wii U as well.
And don't even get me started on WiiMC...

I cant follow ppls hype with old console emulators on our current console generation. We can emulate old consoles on our Smartphones already! Even at tablets and such! Why bother emulating old machines on a Wii U? VC is "a thing", cool and all, a way to show like "wow, see? I've an original EarthBound title!", but if I can emulate on my desktops, notebooks, smartphones and as a better option, since they were made for gaming, my handhelds (e.g. 3DS and PSP), why bother with emulation on a "non-portable" console?
--edit--
If emus like PS3, XBOX, DreamCast and Saturn were a thing on Wii U, I would vote for them!

'cause Project64 and Mupen64 suck....
Dunno why, but when I live stream, they slow down sooooo much.

I'd like to live stream using Wii U instead, it's guaranteed to not slow down (Obviously, the Wii U doesn't slow down while streaming :P).

I remember when I tried to live stream Last Impact...
The stream failed so hard that I canceled it and streamed SM3DW instead.

as someone who watched the development of wiiubru's exploit implementation from the start, it was just a coincidence. nobody knew anything about the production ending at the time.
I knew it! :P

'Saw a bit of streams from Project64 on 1080i and didn't find issues... maybe you didn't used a proper config? Or your PC can't run both programs like intended?!

Wii U, but I would recommend both.

Freaking Dolphin 720p runs at full speed, but Project64/Mupen64 480p don't...

do not discuss the future. let time flow, normally, endlessly, for eternity, unpredictable and enigmatic.
do not ask how someone predicted the future... because there is no future...
the future has no form, it is not visible, trying to give it form through prediction, and it will obviously break.
time only flow in the present and past.
the "future" is the present, the present descent to past...
that is all you need to know, as this... this is the choice of Steins Gate...

Is the PS Vita even still a thing? In my eyes at this point the 3ds is really the only dedicated handheld worth buying.

vita is alright in japan
sad thing it was the first handheld to do console quality on the go

vita hardware also put 3ds hardware to complete shame. sony deserves to go bankrupt after what they did to vita

man, I thought the same thing. However, when I did get one, I asked myself why did I not get such a good console all this time??
With Henkaku, it even made the Vita experience better for me

@Xdqwerty No you heard wrong, and don't believe till you experience yourself. Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time. Yes it had issues early on, esp with older hardware like the xbox1, but it is awesome, esp now being 4k on Series S/X or PS5

Yea you right there, fallout 76 was a letdown, but it not that bad now, they have fixed slot of issues they had at launch. Biggest issue with Fallout 76 is its a pay to advance further type of game, which sucks
