Uhhh, I think you can use TinyFormat if you really wanna do it that way. Do you have a NAND backup instead?

As far as I know, no. The only way would be to use GM9 to restore a NAND backup from before you formatted it.

why do you want to format it? formatting wont remove CFW

TinyFormat just formats the console without formatting the SD. It won't help.

OK, so the real question is after I use TinyFormat, can I set up the 3DS without having to touch the touchscreen? I can still see what is on the touchscreen, it just has no touch functionally.

Nope, if you do a format you won't be able to use the 3DS until you fix the touchscreen because the language selection and setting the date and time all requires touching the buttons on the screen.

Depending on why you want to format your 3DS, there are multiple choices to format it without having to do the first time setup.

How urgent is it? I could make a 3DS formatter which completes the initial setup on its own after format.

Not urgent, just a little annoyed that I broke it. I was trying to clean the dpad because it was sticking, and when I took it apart I broke the touch screen ribbon. If you would make that formatter that would be awesome!

I thought of using an exploitable game to bypass the setup screen, not to format the other one ._.
