Freeshop is a game downloader, not a cheat software. Your options are NTR cheats or Gateway.
I think that you may not have it set up correctly. What 3DS do you have, what firmware are you on and what did you download exactly for NTR?
Look up BootNTR Selector. That BootNTR is very outdated.I grabbed from https://gbatemp.net/threads/ntr-cfw-3-0.393710/
I put the bin in the root, and the cia in the cias folder.
I have an old Jp 3DS, and it's firmware is apparently on 11.2
Apparently there is a topic for 11.2 and a zip folder link so..I'm going to try that.
My Luma is on the most current standard version as well.

The one you linked to was outdated. Try pressing Select instead of X+Y. You will not find a cheats menu with X+Y. Did you add the cheats to your SD card inside the folder whose name should be the title ID of the game, which should be in thenplugin folder on the root of your SD card? Did you see a green flash when loading the game on the Nintendo 3DS logo? The 11.2 one is outdated?
I just tried it, and it said everything boot okay, and then exited. Alright...So I opened Bravely Second and I'm supposed told Hold X and Y together to open the menu but...nothing happens. It's just the standard X and Y botton actions. Whats that about?

You answered none of my questions. Thanks. I'm trying to help, the least you could do is answer my questions. :/ I, as well as several others, can guarantee BootNTR Selector works on 11.2. I use it all the time. So, the one I linked said everything was fine and exited. The new selector one gave me an error saying firmware unsupported. So yeah. Awesome.
Then try again using the version that and press Select. :/ You never once mentioned the green flash in any of your previous posts or if you inserted the cheats right, so no you didn't answer my questions until you did your last post.Yes, I did put the cheats in properly. And for the selector version, Nothing happened because it said the firmware wasn't supported.
The previous one flash green on itself, and said it was g2g basically. But I didn't try hitting select at that point. I didn't see a green flash in particular on the game itself.

No green flash means it's not recognizing the cheats. Make sure the .plg is inside of the folder with the game's Title ID as the folder name. That folder should be in the plugin the root of your SD card. Make sure the cheats are for the region of the game you're using and not for a different region.I tried with select. It only brings up the game's menu (equip, items, jobs, etc). Nothing happens, no green flash.
And again, the NTRSelector version gave me an error saying my firmware version isn't supported.

Thanks again for telling me NTR Selector didn't work for the third time. I got that. :/ I'm trying to help to the best of my ability, don't shoot the messenger.
Can you post a screenshot of that pop-up? To me, it sounds like that pop-up is saying an error occurred and you should reboot your system.Yep. USA version using USA version cheats and the .plg is in there too. What exactly is that pop-up once the NTR exits itself and says stuff? I can't read mine as it's in JP

Try the bins for NTR 3.2 and 3.3. If you have a New 3DS (with the C-Stick), try NTR 3.4.Alright. Now the previous one is having an error also..Ugh. Are there different ntr.bin versions I need to be aware of and make sure line up? I've tried by best to keep up with both the cia and the bin.
