I was just wondering if there's a maximum number of files that can be displayed in the standard TTMenu loader?

You know, I thought there was, but I am not so sure now. It may have been a "funny" on my SDHC 8GB card. Of course, I may also have run "drivesort" on the card since I made that observation. That could well have reordered the folder entries into a more compacted and therefore more efficient format.

Hmmmm.....

Regards,

Z.

No worries, a mate of mine's just bought an 8 gig card for his DST so if I hit what looks like a limit I'll try running DriveSort on it. Cheers Z.

If you formatted the card with FAT16 file system, then there's an upper limit of 512 files in the root directory (can be less if you use long file names). FAT32 has no such limitation. The TTMenu loader has no limitation on number of files displayed that I've ever heard of.
