Ok, awesome news! I was able to extract the entire nand using fstoolbox. I've removed the title folder that was giving me trouble. My next question is: how do I repackage my nand?

I just tried using Ftpii just to see if I could delete the title from the nand and it won't give me write access. I can copy anything I want from the nand, though.

I've been racking my brain over how to get rid of the corrupt save file so here's my next question. Let's say I extract a good version of the game save from a different Wii (from the /title/00010000/ folder in the nand). How would I go about importing that into my nand and overwriting the old file?

Extract it with savegame manager, install it with savegame manager. Or extract it from the wii data management, install it from the wii data management. Or extract it with pink fish, install it with pink fish.

Savegame Manager won't work because it doesn't detect the old save on my Wii. Data Management in the settings won't show me *any* of my game saves located on the Wii (trust me, they're still there. I played a bunch of games today) and won't let me switch tabs. Using the pink fish disc, the console just stays on "Restoring R9DE" (R9DE being the game ID).

What happens when you install a valid title savegame for R9DE on a working wii, then extract that with savegame manager and install it on the troubled wii? I might need to bight the bullet and pack all of the wiiware/vc into wads, do a system format, then reinstall all of those wads.

To install gamesaves into another Wii using Savegame Manager, there has to be a pre-existing game save.

You have a pre existing savegame. Patch a game to the needed title id with wii iso renamer. Load that on a working wii from usb, it should make a savefile with such title id. Extract that and restore it on the other wii.

Technically it's pre-existing but the game save is corrupt so Savegame Manager isn't recognizing it as a valid save. There's no "Install" option for a valid save of Drawn to Life. I made one on a different Wii and backed it up via Savegame Manager.

time to pack wads I think

I wonder what would happen if you patched a channel that made a savefile to that title id, then installed it via wad. Worth a try, probably fail.

Can you rephrase? I don't understand what you're saying.
tempus ad stipant wads puto

Miror quid si resarcio a alveo quod fecit savefile ad quod title id, tunc installed eam per FASCICULUS. Dignum attentent, probabiliter non.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
