Hi guys this is my first ever post on a forum haha I just wanted to ask, is there a way to play a region locked JPN game in japanese in a NA Wii U?
I've been trying to play Mario Party 10 in japanese, I got it from USB Helper. My wii U is homebrewed with mocha. Whenever I load up the game it just hangs on the splash screen with music playing...
I tried with Spiik and it doesn't work. i haven't tried it but I've read that apparently "region unlocking" the wii U doesn't work either... I've read that there's various games that do this like Mario Kart 8 and Captain Toad, and Paper Mario Color Splash also had the same problem but back then I found a page for speedrunners that said how to fix it, but I don't know if it would work with this game. Is there a way to play the game in Japanese? Or do I just give up and get the English version?
