Basically, I want to transfer the savegame from an ordinary 3ds flash card to a game which will be running on the Gateway.

The tool to transfer the game comes from the eshop. I need the system itself to recognize the flash card as the original game.

Does anyone know how I can do it? I was thinking of running the DS rom in the same manner as the Gateway runs the 3ds rom's.. Any ideas?

The game save is coming from Love Plus + and going to New Love Plus +.

Thanks for any ideas.
(I am awaiting delivery of the Gateway)

I know that gateway does have a rom dump feature. go google it theres a tut out there somewhere
I think he's trying to say he wants to pull a game save from a regular DS flashcart, and import it into the gateway.

I don't think that can be done.

Interesting question, whether or not this is an old thread.

I've discovered that the save transfer tool WILL work for Card2 games on a Gateway, I booted up my system-transferred NAND which has Pokémon X and Y as downloads, and the save transfer did offer to let me transfer it. I didn't actually proceed with it as it would have wiped my real saves, but I digress.

With any other games though, I recall it gave a message saying there was no save data to transfer. Because of how Gateway stores the saves on the SD and not in a usual save flash space, it didn't think there was anything there. This was also on an older version of Omega though, I haven't tried it recently... curious if it would work with the new beta. I'm guessing not, since they specifically said they'll be addressing savegames next.

I've noticed a lot of very old threads getting bumped for some reason by the same people

So? It is better than starting new threads. Keeps all relevant information where it belongs. Don't try and start trouble here dude. I haven't been bumping threads.

He can go cry in the corner. :P

It is nice when all of the needed information is in one thread. It is easily searchable and digestible.

That is why we don't delete threads after a month or so.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze

    Booo.

same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in

    it's dumb

    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.

Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
