As the title states, is there a N3DS XL Extended Battery at the same size as the original. If so, any downsides to using one? I have a Cyber grip that I often use so i can't use a larger sized battery.
It's also worth noting that 3rd party batteries most of the time over-promise and under-perform, so what you get might only be a couple hundred mAh better than the stock battery, a difference so small that you probably won't notice it during normal use. Then there are those that actually perform slightly better than their rated capacity, but those are rare.there are only 2500mAh replacement batteries for 3DS XL which are the same size as original (1750mAh), it's not much - but might provide longer playtime
Only because if you're buying a battery, chances are the one you have is worn out lol[...] you get might only be a couple hundred mAh better than the stock battery
I would go with this option, since it can be used to charge multiple devices and you might not always need the extra capacity so you don't need to bring it every time you take the 3DS somewhere. You could get a USB to 3ds cable and a portable charger
