If you're still looking, I found a way to edit the number of stars. Whatever you add to the star offset, add the same number to offsets 0x01 and 0x02. 0x640 and 0x641 are the star offsets reversed. If offset 0x02 is 00, just change it to FF and also change 0x641 to FF and voila!
