do you mean something like wad creator?

takes wii channels and makes them into .wad files on the SD card to my knowledge. never used it, but here on GBAtemp i've heard about it quite alot lol

and above, wad dumper sounds like it does the same job

EDIT: Beegee, you seem to be proven wrong alot indeed here on GBAtemp... lol

hello is there a app or program that instal the wad in the wii dirctly to the sd card ?
Translation:
Greetins fine sirs.
I am pursuing a thought that it may be possible to install a "WAD" file or channel directly to the SD card instead of going through the vast time spent copying it across manually.

@ the tracker
i dont think there is one of those... but it's not too much effort to just copy it over is it?

@ beegee
what the hell are you talking about... if you copy it from wii memory it becomes content.bin.

which is NOT a .wad file is it.

give him a break he's not english.

Who-je calm down.
All I did was try and rephrase his message.
I know that but he wanted to DIRECTLY install it to the SD without the need to copy.

why should HBC different from other hacked channels ?
I copied the Hombrew Channel to SD and I can run it from there... no problem

as above, i can run my HBC from SD perfectly

i prefer it if i'm doing someones wii, that way you dont have to install it and just downgrade IOS' then you can run it through the SD menu rather than installing it proper lol

but obviously, i have it on my personal wii menu too lol

not a coding expert or anything, but i would think this would never work, because when you install a wad to the system menu, it creates a ticket and the content of the game as different entities...then when you copy it to the SD card it copies the game content, but the ticket info is still in the wii memory. so if you could dump right to sd, there would need to be a way to install the ticket on the wii memory yet. so the only way of doing that would be to install on the wii memory them move it over to the sd card...which is how we do it now...maybe an app can be made that does that automatically, but it wouldnt save much time

Okay, so, according to a post read on another thread, I can install my obtained tickets from the .wad files onto a Wii console via FTPii into the NAND's ticket directory, or whatnot..

Well, if there was a batch ticket dumper that dumps all the tickets from a given wad directory on the PC..
Is there any program out there that could take a .wad file and convert it to content.bin,
skipping the need to install the WAD to the Wii and then using the system menu to transfer the VC game over to my SD?

Summary:
Batch ticket extractor from .wad
Batch content.bin creator from .wad filed into the correct folder layouts for easy copy over to SD

I could do with either a (batch?)ticket extractor or a (batch?)wad->content.bin converter, it would save me a ton of time,.. do either exist?
