i thought it was dead after zelda than i found out last story, xenoblade and pandoras tower are coming in english

I played through Last Story, and honestly, it was pretty boring. I would have really liked it if the controls weren't so disagreeable to me. It seemed cool at first, but most of the game is shooting enemies from a distance, watching your other party members fight, and healing them when they go down. Running into stuff seems to be the main control. Wanna attack something? Run into it. Wanna healing someone? Run into them. Everything is automatic. You can dodge, but it doesn't work very well (or maybe I just suck)

The story is, well... Like a mediocre Final Fantasy game.

The coolest part of the game is running around areas between battles. The characters have conversations with each other while you walk to your next location (the bad part is that if you move into a new area during a conversation, the talking all stops).

I know it got great reviews, and it is kinda cool, but I want to play a game where I feel like I'm in control.

I wouldn't say dead, but just in a retirement home forgetting it's name and watching re-runs of "I Love Lucy" while drinking applesauce through an IV.

Seems like you didn't fiddle around with the options, the options has 2 attack controls the one where you run into shit and one where you press A to attack and B to defend.

Also you can command your teammates, and counterattack.
Although it is lacking in the special attacks section, most characters only have 2-3 skills and the main character's main gimmick is pressing C to make everything target you then block to gather energy then release energy to incapacitate your enemies.
In any case it's still a good game but it lacks the ability to do lots of special attacks so you might be dissapointed.
