Hardware Is the PS2 Eyetoy compatible with PS3Eye "required" games?

A good example is Operation Creature Feature, it absolutely requires a camera to play. I'm aware that you can use the eyetoy with Littlebigplanet and the like, but none of those downright require it. I'm just wondering if the Eyetoy can actually work with games marked as "Playstation Eye REQUIRED" on the Plsyation Store.
