I am in the market for a SC lite and would like to ask, is the CycloDS microSD the same as the SuperCard lite in terms of features, hardware? Are they both just as reliable?

I don't know very much about Slot-2s,

but weren't the Slot-2 Cyclo models actually Supercard clone products?

Of course, not the CycloDS (Slot-1), just the Slot-2.

Yes, slot 2 CycloDSs are Supercard clones.

What do you want it for? Gba?
If so you might wanna reconsider your choice of slot 2 flashkart.

The CycloDS mini and microSD are indeed Supercard clones. I'm not sure about this, but I think they won't run the official Supercard firmwares, and I don't think Team Cyclops has kept them up to date. If you want an SC Lite you should probably just get an SC Lite.

If you're getting it for compatibility with old fatlib homebrew you need an SC miniSD, not an SC Lite.

They won't run newer Supercard firmwares because they encrypted the later ones.

I want it for gba. Homebrew on GBA is meh .... I don't really know which to get.
Don't say " GEt thE M3 PERFECT!!!! IT'S PERFECT!!!!!!!!!" I can't find it for less than $ 70
If you find a good card at a good price send a link please.

Why don't you get a EZ Flash IV then? It shouldn't be too expensive and it doesn't have slowdown like the Supercard's.

Should I get deluxe? Also, I heard somewhere it sucks.

Deluxe is a little pricey, does anyone think I will be fine with the non-deluxe?
As long as you don't get the Compact version you'll be fine. The Compact version is only able to play Gba-roms that are smaller than 8 MB.

Can the deluxe play game bigger than 8MB?

All versions of the EZ Flash IV except for the Compact version are able to run 32MB Gba-roms.
