Is online play worth it?

How is the online Mario kart world gameplay?

I’ve just been playing single player on my console and keeping offline.

I’ve got another console and wondering if it’s worth it to pay for switch online and making it my online console?

If you play Splatoon then yes. If you don't then probably not.

I tried free trials for Switch Online a few times but wasn't a fan of it and never subscribed. You try out the trial if there is one, if there isn't then subscribe for three months and see how you find it.

If you're thinking of using the Mig Switch, don't. Even if you don't care about online play, you don't want to get locked out of online features, specifically the eShop and downloading game updates. The games you can actually play get severely limited when you're banned.
