Hacking Is it safe to use Nintendo Zone?

Hi.
I'm still new here and have my 3DS empty without games. The problem is I have to wait like 1 more week till I get my Gateway so im pretty much stuck without any money and counting the hours every day.

If I use Nintendo Zone can I download some demos without be prompted to update firmware or its connected to eshop?

if you can download demos, you are already on the last firmware

for use online services the console needs to be updated, you can't access the eshop without asking for update...

and please make some search... this topic was asked several times in here.. or just use noob paradise thread...

If you happen to have a DS flash card, you can set up emunand, update that and get the demos, but if not then you're stuck until the Gateway arrives.
