Hi,

I have an old backup 100% clean of my switch v7.0, now i'm on 9.0
I was wondering if someday i'd like to restore my nand then use hekate to skip fusecheck to boot OFW et then update to the latest OFW.

Is this safe ??
Or is it safer to do a new nand backup after every update ?

Thanks

If you have been updating online then no because Nintendo believes you are on a firmware higher than the one your NAND backup is on so restoring your NAND backup will tell Nintendo you downgraded via hacks. If you haven't been updating online, then yes it is safe.
