Well, so i have here my homebrewed 11.4.0-37U o3ds that i didn't play on for a while, so when i turned it on it asked me if i wanted to update my FW, or else i wouldn't be able to play online, enter e-shop, update software, etc.

Basically, can i update it without any problem? Will freeshop/CFW stop working or will my console brick? Do i have to update something first?

I followed this guide https://3ds.guide/homebrew-launcher-(soundhax) around the beginning of february, and i never updated anything since aside for FW, so i still have the same versions to evething the guide told me to install.

And please explay this to me like i'm 6 years old, i'm know close to nothing when it comes to homebrewing technical language, and sorry for any bad grammar, i'm brazilian.

if you have luma installed do you also have luma updater installed? if so just update luma and the fw then both will be up to date.

Like any other people would say:
Update your Luma and Your B9S if you don´t have them on the newest version and THEN update fw

Updating luma and B9S in not necessary, but it's a good thing to do.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
