I had the same idea. It didn't work so I just named my horse Tao

Yeah it's possible. you use stasis and freeze the tree hit it until red get on it and fly away. or you can put those purple inflatable things on it and fly away.

I do it every time i play to "run" faster.
When I seen we could do that to rocks or several other element, i tried over tree and i seen it fly away and was woa and after several fail attempt I though it was impossible and someone here confirmed it to be possible
So I continued and once you get right leaf you can make it fast and easy
