I'm wonder if you can hack a game just to steal its music. Well I want the audio from Summon Night and, since I can't find it, want to rip it. Question is, do I really need to beat the whole game again just to rip the audio. Or can I hack it and rip it without actually having to go through the game?
You can but it is nowhere near as easy as it is for DS games (if tracing something with VBA-SDL (romhacking.net: http://www.romhacking.net/ has some stuff, tracing title screens with vba-sdl-h or something like that) is not something for you then I would not go for it).
Your best bet is loopback with VBA (you can drop channels as well to get only backgrounds which coupled with a cheat or two and the turbo button...).

Wish they would let us play the NCAA football 14 on newer xbox, its one of the only games I love and own on disc still, that is not back compatible, bs.
