It would be nice if you could take pictures with it and chat.
This could be (theoretically) possible. But custom drivers need to be created for the webcam I guess?
Of course it's possible.
Just plug it right in the USB!
Oh, you mean make it work?
Uh, no. Use a computer, dumbass.
It may be possible under Linux as there's a repository of drivers for a boatload of (older) webcams.
Don't worry we have WiiSpeak, so WatchMii is around the corner...!!!
WatchMii... You're probably right, sad to say.
supposedly this supports webcams lulz
Yeah, but if it also possible to connect a headset so I don't have to buy wiispeak?
Uh, no. Or else no one would spend the $29.99 (adjust for location) if there wasn't
some wonderful Nintendo magic inside the Wii Speak mic.
the wii can have anything connected to it as long as a custom driver is in effect.
What about a USB lamp..??
oh great another IOS down the hole, meaning more wii internal memory gone!
and i tried to quote AtH's post, but it wont let me because it's been removed, but i only wanted to say LMAO at it.
Yes, it is possible to connect a webcam to a wii. Won't do much mind, but there is absolutely nothing to stop you sticking it in the USB port anyway.
Damn you beat me to it XD
It would be nice because other people won't hear what happens in my living room and it's cheaper.
So what exactly can you do with Wii Speak..?? can you voice-chat with a friend that has Wii Speak...??
wii speak is for voice chat, and for the webcam: linux can do that (or mayby win95 on dosbox )
...in your dreams
Does anyone else think WatchMii sounds pretty creepy? ..... -.-
