Its worth it if you have a second ps3 so the unhacked one you use to play online games, and the second hacked one is offline. You got that kind of cash to throw around? If you do send me some

My friend bought 3 PS3s just because of the hack. A PS3 for hacking, a PS3 to play online games, and another PS3 if the one for hacking gets banned he will then hack this one in the future.

Where in the world did he get the money for 3 Ps3s? I could only afford one, even though the one I got was for my birthday.

I've heard the same about Microsoft for years. I even confess that I've been among them. Without Microsoft, we wouldn't have Windows or Xbox 360. We'd probably all be using MacOS instead. Yet people still hate M$ because we're giving them so much money, amongst other reasons.

I am really on the fence about it.

I haven't updated so I have the option of installing CFW. On the other hand I am hessitating because I don't want to lose ONLINE play.

So, I can't play online, because I am on the previous FW, but I am not hacking because I want to play online. Vicious Circle.

I am seriously considering the option of getting a second console.

Well i have both CFW and OFW with my 2 different consoles..

1 60GB FAT Japanese BC Model. - Homebrew and backup puposes. And soon XBMC.

1 300GB SLIM - For legitimate purposes, Im only using this for Blu-ray playback, NetFlix and some PSN game downloading... not really fond about online gaming.

for me... hacking is worthy since I can do more things that it was intended to. Im not going to throw any reasons about PSN or such since i dont really care.
