Hacking Is Flashing dangerous after a while?

I have flashed my DS about 25 times now and want to do it even more times because I am addicted to Flashing (lol) and I am very good at it. xD

But will this screw up my DS after a while? I mean "shorting" doesn't sound good at all..

I think it's fun and I make alot of tutorials about it. =P
I also want switch the auto and no-autoboot once a time so I can switch from my slot-2 card to slot-1 without holding SELECT all the time.

I think, as the flash is, um, flash, you should be ok to re-write it a few thousand times before you damage it.
