Homebrew Is Dsi capable of playing new 2ds games with Twilight Menu?

So, I already have twilight menu on my nintendo dsi, and was wandering if it's possible to play games made for new nintendo 2ds xl on my nintendi dsi as long as I have the roms. Anyone knows or has a guess? Thank you in advance.

And why exactly would a console from 2009 be able to run games from a next generation console with different features and different controls (like analog sticks)?
This isn't a PC, DSi is simply way too weak to play 3DS games, lacks too many features of the console too
