You could use a curser for the bottom 'screen'

I only say this because I want to play the Phoenix Wright games on the Wii >.>

Well, it's not likely we'll ever see one, since the pc DS emulators have incredibly low compatibility, so don't get your hopes up

Even if someone can make a working emulator, the touch screen will make many games unplayable..
How do you want to emulate it? Pointing with the wiimote isn't an option (to less buttons on it, or at least to badly placed), and gc-controller/ classic controller have no way of pointing... (Control sticks aren't really accurate+need button to decide when touching or not)

Lol they complain about how there isn't enough buttons on a Wimmote, but waht about a Wiimote+Nunchuck. The Analog stick as the D-Pad, A and B as A and B, then C and Z as X and Y, then the D-Pad Left and Right on the Wimmote as L and R. It'd be possible., however software-wise I'm not sure.

Nintendo talked about it in their NP magazine.
It's been done, they did it (so yes it's possible) - but they said it's hard to control and just not worth it
