Maybe I like it too much,so i stay on this for me unreadable Wii.

Seriously,I do not really use this Wii so much,because I have a PAL and NTSC for USB Game Loading.
Only for Disc related Tests for my personal "Curiosity".
Modchipped Wii´s are unfortunately "unnecessary" today.

And I have learned so much Things here on GBAtemp (THANK YOU,my fellow Community.)
to know many Ways to go back to the normal PAL/EU Wii.

Ah ... now I was relieved, I have access to the Homebrew channel ... I install the Priiloader again. Then I have access to Boot Mii and run NAND Backup.
I also have more than 1 Wii here. I fill the room to play MW3, Black Ops, Super Smash, Pokemon, Mario Kart etc ...

I know,there is a special Drive for the Wii.

For playing Backups you need an (older and not further developed) Loader called uLoader:
https://www.sites.google.com/site/completesg/backup-launchers/usb/uloader

It only supports the Hermes cIOSes (cIOS202,222,223,224).
Maybe it has to do that the Loader IS from Hermes itself.

Unfortunately,I have no knowledge about other DVD Drives that can works.

Interesting, but I live in Brazil, Dollar is very expensive!
I have to see how far my dream of playing DQX on the Wii goes.
With this value (4 readers) I can get the full version of DQX for PC, PS4 and Switch, but they don't have story mode.
I don't know ... it's to rethink ...!

not sure. I think the system installs a new ios just for usb support. that may be ios 58, but I can't remember. we all have that though. anyway, the game is coming out again, and this time to the West afaik, probably on the switch, possibly ps4/5. I don't know when though. the offline campaign is around 20 hours I believe.
