Gaming Is DMC3SE on the HD Collection prone to crashing?

It crashed 3 or 4 times while leaving the item shop at the checkpoint thing right before Vergil 2 on Hard. Is that just my console, or is the game prone to crashing?

(should install the .pkg to the ps3 hdd, loading the game as an iso creates issues, and so does using an external harddrive) (it does take more time before you get to play the game)

Sadly, the people that contribute to compatibility lists for the ps3, include a lot of false positives....................(same thing for ps2 games, not building the pkg and including signed properly, same for ps1, but ps1 i don't think will start up without using a package file?)
