Is BIOS X2 4983.06 safe for clock cap removal?

Hi I recently got a chipped 1.3 Xbox and I'm wondering if it will be safe to remove the clock capacitor and not get the dreaded boot loop or will I need to update the BIOS first?
Tried looking around and asking around at other places but haven't gotten a concrete answer yet.

from a facebook group i use for modding/repair the only said 1.6 rev will bootloop but rather someone else give a final answer

Should be ok, Only very early hacked bios boot looped from not having the time set.
