IPTV - m3u On Switch

Is there a way to play M3u List or IPTV player on switch right now?
I was reading about the pPlay support to m3u but i was not sure about the progress

Don't think there is anything like this at the moment.

The only other option is using switchroot android from what i know

PPlay has streaming features according to the Github page and another post says m3u streaming is working well.

i have written a homebrew to watch iptv through the switchs internal browser. the browser is extremly limited though and it was far from perfect. some streams didnt work, some did but lagged. and js libraries that could help didnt work because of the browsers limitations.
