Ipod Nano 5th Gen screen crack.

i accidentally dropped my 5th gen nano onto the street from about 2/3 feet and now the screen is cracked. the display is normal as if nothing happened but i ran my finger across the screen where the crack is and i can feel it there... what should i do? oh and my warranty is up

If it's just the outer screen that's damaged, I believe its possible to buy an outer glass replacement if you don't mind to disassemble some of it.

i believe it is only the outer glass screen im only shocked because its gone through A LOT worse than being dropped...

My 5th Gen iPod Nano actually BENT from keeping it in my pocket for too long. (In the gym)

The top of the screen popped out, and it had weird bubbles under the screen itself. Sent it to Apple, and they said it had WATER in it.


I never took it NEAR water... :sob:

I've seen the part go for as low as $5, and iFixIt rates its installation as difficult.
