I was wondering if someone could shed some light in my generally dark direction. Just got the iPlayer, went through about 10 steps to get the OS on there. (The whole fish tycoon game screen, etc.)

Next I downloaded the GBA emulator from this site put the English version in the /_system/ folder of the MicroSD. Made a Games folder on the root and put 3 GBA games. I can't access them from the homebrew option in the menu. I can locate them using the files (file browser) option, but when I click on the game it says: Warning! This is unknowned file!!!

Unknowned indeed ....

Have I forgotten some important step?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the GBA emulator should not be in the system folder. It should be wherever is convenient for you to access it, such as the root of our MicroSD. Then you have to launch the emulator, not the GBA roms, and choose the games from there.

Have you looked on the internet yet for a setup guide? If nothing works, just backup all your stuff and reformat the micro sd, then try again.

Suggest to format microsd card into FAT format, it's faster

1st, Make sure the fireware and OS of your iPlayer is the lastest version
2nd, There are CHT/ENG 2 emulators in the zip file. Install the one which fit your iPlayer

The instructions could be clearer

1.You either have to copy the entire Plugins folder from the zip file to the "-System folder" (overwriting the Plugins folder that's already in there).

Or copy all the stuff (the contents) that's in the Plugins folder on the Zip
to the "System/Plugins" folder on the SD.

2. Then you have to copy the entire NDSGBA folder onto the Root of the SD card.

3.Then you have to put the games (Roms) into the "Gamepak" folder that's inside the NDSGBA folder (the NDSGBA folder in the Root directory).

I also made the mistake of using games that were already patched for use on another cartridge (Super Card),
the Roms must be unpatched.

Also, you have to format your card to FAT instead of FAT32 for GBA games to work. I could format my 4 GB SDHC card but not my 8GB. So I have to use 4 GB max i don't know if some 8Gb + work
