Modmii has a hackmii installer solutions guide that basically has u load mmm to install some clean IOSs (I think just IOS58) directly via an exploit, then it will instruct users to launch the hackmii installer via mmm's built in launcher, and reinstall.

that's right, once IOS58 is reinstalled there's no reason to install OHBC.wad, hackmii installer can work again. I don't know why I thought about the HBC wad instead of clean 58 to use with hackmii installer. I probably had vWii brick in mind where you use injected wiivc to fix it.
I wasn't sure if he had any cIOS to use with mmm to reinstall a clean IOS58, but we will know only by trying.

Thanks for helping.

So, philip, new guide :P
first download modmii (link in the signature above this message).
launch modmii on your computer (you have Windows, right?), and either find the guide to fix your current situation and follow it entirely,
or
find the place where you can download IOSes, and get IOS58.
it will download a proper IOS58 from nintendo's servers and pack it to a wad file.
then on your console, use multiModManager or YAWMM, use IOS236 if you have it or any slot >200, and install the generated IOS58 wad from your SD card.

once you have IOS58 installed back, re-launch latest version of hackmii installer, and it should work now.
You'll have to still fix all your other bad IOS files using modmii again to get a batch of all proper IOS, by following "I want to resoftmod my console".

Modmii is a program which generates guides based on your needs.
just get the program, and follow the text on screen, take the time to read what's possible and find the menu which correspond to your problem. I don't have the proper name in mind, sorry.
once you find it, it will prepare and download needed files and generate you a guide to follow to fix your console.

sorry, it's french habitude for Filipe :P

You will find it very easy, and if you will have to do things like that a lot of time.
Like,if u want to install Linux OS,seems hard if u see someone installing it,but after you finish your "project" you will find it easy.

just take the time to read and get used to the program's interface, and how to navigate the menus.
don't feel afraid or submerged by the amount of text on screen :P
nothing will happen if you don't press any button, take your time.

To be clear, install ModMii for windows, and from the main menu run the hackmii solutions wizard. From there it will automatically grab the files u need and put them in the right places on your SD, and build an easy guide for u to follow.

After u get your homebrew channel fixed, start modmii again and this time launch the main ModMii wizard instead of the hackmii solutions wizard, then follow that guide to completion and you're all set.

@Cyan, you don't need a CIOS to install a clean/officially signed IOS (unless it's being downgraded). So any stock (non-stubbed) IOS should be able to install a clean IOS58.

a wad manager can install clean wad without any IOS es/nand patch? to patch the IOS, you need ahb access to disable mem2.
You are probably right than the console can install good signed files without any "cfw", I forgot about that, but then why would IOS58_installer requires AHB if it's downloading directly from NUS getting stock and good ticket? maybe because there's no wad involved, it's getting the apps files and doesn't use ES? or maybe to access NAND/ISFS to download and store file to /tmp/ before triggering the official ES installation?

if you don't need ahb nor any IOS patches, it would require an official IOS58 extracted from a disc update, not one created by nusd as it fakesigns with the beer ticket. I can extract one.

edit:
I'm stupid.
I wondered if he had the needed cIOS 236 or 249 installed so he could use a wad manager, but his issue is his console has ALL the IOS patched with trucha bug ! any IOS would work.

I start with option 2: without ModMi because before i ask from help in this post i had try with it and i have lost my self....

Following the steps from cyan i was able to install IOS58 and access to hackmii installer!

I update UsbLoader Gx to it´s last version 3.0 r12.68.7...

Problem: When i start UsbLoader Gx i get a error: fail loading ios58.....

So i back to Multi Mod Manager and reinstall Ios58... but i get the same error on UsbLoader Gx...

don't reinstall IOS without reason. you already installed IOS58, doing it again is useless, it will just reinstall the exact same thing.
don't reinstall IOS if we don't tell you, it's safer. thanks.

anyway, glad you could get IOS58 installed, and hackmii installer too.
so, now, your HBC is 1.1.2 and when you press Home button is says "IOS58 v24.32" ?

Now, before trying anything else, please, follow syscheck guide in my signature, just to see the state of your console.
post the result here.
from the result, we will advice what to suggest next. don't be impatient and think everything should work because you replaced one file. your console is a mess and need small steps at a time. don't try things yourself.

thank you for syscheck :)
your wii is reallly old (cIOS 249 rev7, I didn't see that for more than 10 years!)

oh : Canal Homebrew 1.0.1 ejecutandose en IOS36
you said you used hackmii installer again, you didn't install HBC or hackmii installer didn't work ?
or you used an OLD hackmii installer ?
be sure to run latest version, get it from https://bootmii.org/download/

you see, your problem was that ALL your IOS are "bug trucha" patched, you had no clean IOS.
the owner probably used burned disc with this console. it was a way to play disc, but now it's not needed anymore.

I feel stupid, because the easiest and fastest way to fix your console is : Update it officially !
from 3.3 to 4.3

I didn't even thought about that solution. I was focused on your error.
all your IOS are old, update the console, you'll get all proper IOS installed officially.
then, from 4.3E it's very easy to hack it properly.

HBC will be deleted, but it's not hard to get it back if you have a compatible game, or if you have the browser channel installed you don't even need a game disc.

Thanks!!

I will update the wii...

After that is the same process i used on my vWii? I have Lego Indiana Jones i used on my vWii...

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

When i hacked my vWii i wrote all the steps i did (just in case)

If the process after the update is the same and i can follow that steps will be easier for me (i'll probably only have time on the weekend)

Yes, that's the same steps.
just use the Wii files to do the exploit.
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Homebrew_setup#Part_3:_Setting_up_your_Wii

quick guide :
update to 4.3
use lego exploit to launch hackmii installer, install [email protected] (the console is old, it should be possible), bootmii IOS and HBC. you can also follow modmii "I want to softmod my wii", it will let you do some security steps (priiloader, patching some IOS).
then, follow this guide to install USBLoaderGX. If you followed modmii, you don't need to install the cIOS from that guide.

if you have issue with the loader launching or detecting the hdd, don't install IOS or cIOS or edit your system.

I made the update... and now i have version 4.3E...

But HBC still there and working...

What should be my next step? Update HBC with hackmii?

yes, now that you have IOS58 officially installed, run hackmii installer from HBC, put the boot.elf in a subfolder (example /apps/hackmii/boot.elf) instead of using a disc exploit.
then, choose to install all you can, [email protected], bootmii IOS, and of course HBC.

once installed, you can follow the guide to install USBLoaderGX.

You'll miss priiloader, but if you have [email protected] it's a good brick protection.
priiloader can still be installed if you want system menu hacks (auto press A button, move disc channel, remove save copy protection, etc.)
if you install [email protected], you'll notice bootmii menu everytime you boot your console, you can use this homebrew to edit bootmii settings and choose "0 seconds" to autoboot into system menu or hbc.
I always autoboot HBC, it's very useful.

Thanks...

At this moment i have a full working Usb Loader Gx...

It is able to recognize the hdd but does not show any games (i am using the Hdd of my Vwii). Just show me forwarder´s from main menu.

I believe that some configuration of the USB Loader Gx could be wrong!

Edit:

I found it... "Select titles sources"

Now everything is working fine!!

Thanks @Cyan for your great help... And thanks to all the other´s who tried help!!
