IOS 249 problem

btw, Xflak has a discord channel for modmii. you might ask him for it. I'm not sure how to get the channel address from within discord as I'm a member of it as I was one of the beta testers for modmii a while back. I couldn't really test much on the wii, since mine is down for the count, but I tested modmii's functions.
yet, you don't know how to fix my problem with modmii?

oh, I just remembered this. I think @Alexander1970 tested the function of changing regions on his system. he was also a beta tester, so he may be able to help you with this one. I don't remember too much about the wii, just bits and pieces.

I don't think its about "changing regions" but I'll message him too

So, I did everything that this guide says https://wii.guide/cios

it says

Select cIOS: v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52
Select cIOS base: 57
Select cIOS slot: 249
Select cIOS version: 65535

mine says

Select cIOS: d2x-v6 (can't change it to v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52)
Select cIOS base: 57
Select cIOS slot: 249
Select cIOS version: 65535

and also the IOS STUB detected in the slot 249 will be overwritten

Should I go for that?

Remove cIOS249 using "Multi-Mod Manager", then install cIOS249 "v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52".

  • Download "Multi-Mod Manager": https://gbatemp.net/download/multi-mod-manager.13015/
  • Drag-and-drop the "MMM" directory to the "apps" folder located on the root of your SD card.
  • Launch the HBC then launch "Multi-Mod Manager".
  • Select 'IOS Manager' from the main menu, highlight 'IOS249' and press '-' to remove it.
  • When asked if you want to remove the IOS, press 'A' to accept.
  • Exit out of "Multi-Mod Manager", then launch "d2x cIOS Installer" to continue with the installation of cIOS.
