Is the SHOP Code now 66 ?
Do you have RiiConnect24 or that kind ?
Did you have already read the Wii´s EULA in the Wii Options ?

First we should try to fix that then you can look on the IOS249 Issue please.

no, I didn't click anything because Shop country code 77 is what it supposed to be because I bought it in France and 77 is for France (i just checked)

ok, did it all and still the same Select cIOS: d2x-v6 (can't change it to v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52)

Try following the "No internet connection" guide. If that doesn't work, then yes, try installing a slightly older version.

dude, I know what the problem is. I am using the old d2x custom IOS installer from when i softmodded my wii back in 2015. I didn't download the new version today. It was there so I thought why would I. I mean its gonna be the same if i go for d2x-v6, right? Its just the app version but it will do the job just fine, right?

You didn't mention about you using an older version of the "d2x cIOS Installer". Install the latest version then continue on where you left off.

Then u can drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do. Or just resoftmod using modmii's main wizard, the end result will be the same. This will get your IOS249 updated as well as other things.

If u have region mismatch issues, after doing the above, run modmii's region change wizard

You can do that if you want. cIOS249 and 250 are the most commonly used ones to my knowledge.

Yes. If everything goes smoothly as planned, try using the applications you used earlier to see if they all work.

iirc, the cios is nothing special, they're just custom builds of actual ios on the system, so where they're located, as long as it's above 199, is okay. however, a lot of apps are designed to use 249 by default. this can often be changed.
