Hacking Invalid CIA

when I try to install cias on my o3ds on big blue menu, it says that it is invalid and won't let me download. but, when I try it on my 2DS it works. what is the problem? is it possibly a region problem?

rxtools,emunand, a lot of cias that I use which are RF USA, and I have 9 gb left. and I'm trying to install luigi's mansion.

Does FBI give an error too or just Dev Menu?

Try using cakesfw. I couldnt install a cia until i used that. Then it worked fine.

im guessing you are running BBM via the home menu in emunand.

Have you tried installing other CIA isntallers

have you successfully installed any other cias?

after the game gets to 100%. it just says that it's invalid. I have tried devmenu too. and yea, I run BBM from home menu in emunand. and I have omega ruby and Mario kart 7 on it now. and do u know any other cia installers?

are you running the CIA install from the homebrew launcher? (if so thats why its failing)

you can try FBI or NASA

nah, I'm not trying it from the homebrew launcher. FBI gives the same results. I'll try NASA

Sometimes is the CIA try another one. I had this issue with a DLC from super smash bros and then I downloaded another one and it worked.

Also check you don't have anything related to that CIA installed in your system.

Sounds like a corrupted CIA to me, try redownloading and comparing hashes.

it didn't really give me an error code. after it finished downloading it just says "this cia is invalid" and for some cias it won't even let my try and download them. it says "this cia is invalid"

Have you tried redownloading the CIAs? try and get them from a reputable source. and try loading up some Homebrew CIAs first.

oh, my sysnan and emunand are linked. would that cause a problem too?
