Started crunching some numbers to see how much I spent:

Gamecube : $18
Battery: $40
Screen:$50
7x controllers: $50
Plexiglass: $12
Wiikey Fusion: $50
Breakout board: $20

Total: $240 And about 4 months of work

Also working on the cost of a ps2p :

Screen: $50
Ps2slim: $35
2x controllers: $40?
battery: $40
Charge circuit (Needed If I go with Lithium Batts) $20
HDD: $20-$50 @Devin They need to be IDE for the ps2 right? Or is the slim a SATA?
Case: $50 (Just a guess I want a decent case)

Total for PS2p: $285
Gonna need to see what I have lying around from my old ps2

Early model SCPH-700xx slims have components for the IDE drive and capable of a hard drive modification as found by automan. The soldering is of small parts.
Although expensive you can put in a Compact Flash card instead of a hard drive so you have no moving parts to increase battery life.

Model SCPH-7900x and SCPH-900xx are not capable of soldering on a IDE port, but their motherboards are half sized and should be great for a portable PS2 with a disc drive.

Thanks for clearing it up , still wont be working on this for a while but its good to know later

Hopefully gonna wire up my wiikey tommorrow and finish it up , wiikey is the biggest thing, not gonna have an integrated controller until I get another one so I can play a little

My wiikey didn't get here , i'm pissed according to the tracking number it didn't even ship yet.

Tried calling them , no answer, Says open 9-5 central time which is an hour past my time , it should be 12 o'clock . Their online support isn't online either and they never replied to my email, All their feedback is good though so I don't know what's going on :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

I've got the paper, tape, and stuff just tell me if you still want those Gamecubes and I'll give you my Paypal.

OK thanks , not just yet , I think if i can solder the wiikey(if i ever get it) I'll be done , if I mess up then I'll probably need one

Never buying from modchipcentral ever again, their online support was online today and i asked them about my wiikey and they said it was out of stock , never even sent me an email about not having it. I almosththrew $50 away, No official wiikey seller is in stock.
