What the heck are you talking about? I don't see how protecting they're system from what is almost always piracy makes them crappy. The only "crappy" part is that they made the Wii region locked to begin with.

Last Story is gonna be in complete english in Europe, and now Nintendo wants to try and stop me from playing a game i want to play because they're stupid enough to assume i don't want to play it. Nintendo can fuck off.

I didn't have an SNES, and Earthbound doesn't interest me.

I'm not gonna pay hundreds of dollars for a PAL Wii for 1 game. You're out of your damn mind if you think that's an option. The PS3 isn't region locked, the PS Pita won't be region locked. Yet Nintendo insists on region locking their shit. Localizing a game the majority don't care about? Have you seen the amount of crap shoved out on the Wii? More people would probably buy Last Story then say Jerry Rice and Nitus' Dog Football.

You don't need to buy a PAL Wii to play the game legally. Just buy a PAL copy of the game and rip it to a USB drive or use Priiloader hacks to play it from the disc drive.

I'm not hijacking a topic over it, region locking was brought up a few posts back, so i was questioning it, which led to my annoyed outburst. Buying it then downloading it serves the same purpose, if i was gonna download it then i;m not gonna buy it.

a USB loader, i'm assuming that would require me buy some form of external HDD, that plus the game would = probably over 100 dollars. I;m pirating it.

There's no point in updating to 4.3 (it was just an anti-piracy attempt by Nintendo).

Easiest way to mod your wii is to use ModMii (it's in the forum's stickies).

But again, there is no reason to update to SYSTEM MENU 4.3. You can update the IOS's to 4.3's IOS's and have the same benefits.
