how did you get it? I was just on the shop channel I have a legit download (from when it was free) and I checked wii channnels and it said downloaded under it.

NUS gives you v257, not v3 like the previous release of the browser.

Durr, read the Nintendo message regarding the free VC if you originally bought the Internet Channel! if so you won't be able to download you're FREE VC till late October until late December, wait till these dates are finalised on Nintey website.

The latest version of the browser appears to be v512 in the US. Requires IOS55, sizes in at about 33MB. Ticket is still on NUS, which makes even more sense now that it's free.

The Title ID as always is 00010001484144XX, with XX being the region ID. USA users can use 0001000148414445 as the Title ID to grab the latest browser with NUSD. I don't know the complications of doing that regarding the free gift though.
