    no.

Intel - for the purpose of Dual Boot / Tripleboot using integrated GFX. (AMD is not supported on higher than OSX 10.6)

Obviously if there was no price factor, everyone would choose Intel. Since I use budget PCs, I like AMD.

Depends on what you're doing. If you're building a cheap computer that's a good bang for the buck, AMD. If you're building a hackintosh/literally anything else, then Intel

I'm mostly an AMD guy, both of my gaming rigs uses Phenom II X6 CPU's. The rig i'm building for a friend has an AMD FX-6800 and the rig i'm building for my sister has a Phenom II X4

I have to admit the Phenoms are total bargains price wise, great for average users, especially when you know the end user will not use programs that are processor specific.

I never understood the whole phenom x2, x4 and x6s why not just go to a FX or Opteron?

    I forgot
Like most said, it depends on what I'm putting it in.

Gaming/high performance rigs, I'd probably always choose Intel. They simply perform better than AMD's comparable models, period. But for any low budget/basic rig I'd probably choose AMD, purely because they make great budget CPUs, especially when you want to save as much money as possible and invest it in something else.

I'm biased, been using Intel CPUs for well over ten years, never had a single issue with them, but that's just my personal experience :P
