Instinct NX NO SD and OFW

I installed the instinct and I now get the NO SD screen as well as OFW boot when holding volume. My wifi works as well as my joy cons.

Tommorow I will pick up a 1tb SD card. Frankly I thought I would brick again so I decided not to buy one until I had the unit assembled booting to the no-sd screen.

What do I need to do at this point to avoid bricking? I know I need to download HATS pack but I have read about corrupted eMMc.

I also noticed that if I try to boot too soon after turning the system off with OFW, it takes a second power button press to boot into no-sd.

You can do an install without any hat pack if you follow the rentry guide. If you follow the CFW setup with an EmuMMC you will never touch the console eMMC so no corruption is possible.

I got no issue with a switch OLED and an instinct-nx by following this guide.
