Hacking Installing Wood r4i gold for 3DS

ok so all my shipments have finally arrived.

I have my SanDisk 32gb MicroSD
I have my R4i 3DS Revolution for DS (from gamespree)
I have the mSD in the usb thing that comes with the Flashcart

I have downloaded the latest WOOD R4 V1.51 Released. (2012-08-21) from r4ids.cn

which is newer than the last patch so I'm going to presume I don't need it.


now the wood r4 has no instructions....and i've looked through several stickied topics on here and I haven't exactly found my solution

I googled it but many videos and threads so I'd rather ask from a trusted source.


So I ask you folks if you can assist me. I've already reformatted the mSD into FAT32 now I just want to know what's next?

Also once I'm done installing the firmware, do I create create a folder on the mSD for my DS games?

annnnd lastly, can I transfer all my old data from my current microSD card in the 3ds to my new microSD card? (for example save files, downloaded 3DS and Virtual Console games)

Download wood r4 v1.51 from www.r4ids.cn
You just need to unzip WOOD R4 V1.51 to the root directory of your tf card.
Just copy ds roms to your tf card.
That's all.

wow...that was embarrassingly easy LOL many thanks Tranfeer...i was expecting a process like i had for my original psp with the whole pandora thing and all...thanks again!
