Hacking Hardware installing Pikofly without resistors !

Hi everyone.
Im willing to install the rp2040-zero on my v2 switch, i have everything to do it except the three 47 ohm resistors
I asked the question on a switch modding related discord server and they told me that without the resistors SYSMMC will not boot.
So my questions are:
1- can i mod my switch v2 and boot atmosphere without the resistors?
2-If i can not boot sysmmc without the resistors, can i at least do a backup?

You can make a NAND backup of Sysnand, but you have to setup an emunand.

If you want to use sysnand then do the resistors.

I can add the resistors later, my current issue is if i can do the nand backup without the resistors!

It will work, but you will encounter problems with your EMMC. At best it will just be remarkably slow, at worst it could corrupt itself.
I'm in the same situation as you, and I couldn't take the risk. So I'm still waiting for the resistors to arrive before doing anything.

You can always do a nand backup.

Looks like i have an other issue here
My switch is a patched one (according to the serial number)
So i bought a rp2040 zero and the V2 flex cable from hwfly
Then when i wanted to solder the flex cable i noticed that its not aligned with the cpu!
So what version of switch do i have and what flex cable do i need???
I can not post the picture because of my low lvl account

Most likely you have a patched V1 - so you will need the V1 flex for that.

Okay the resistors have arrived and for some reason they shipped me the wrong size one wgich the biggest 2512 47ohm ones instead of the smaller 0603
I mannaged to find a place for them but im a little bit worried if they can do the job
