Hi, I want to install homebrew on my 2DS so I can get Freshop on it and get games. The thing is I've tried multiple times with no luck. When I play the soundhax, it says "could not play". Can somebody help me?

If you're on 11.6, then the Soundhax method will not work for you. You have three options on 11.6:

1. ntrboot method, which requires a compatible $15 DS flashcart.
2. DSiWare/Seedminer method, which requires a compatible $2 DSiWare title.
3. Hardmod method, which requires that you take apart your 3DS and do some soldering.

Is there a way to downgrade my 3DS?

There is no way to downgrade the 3DS without following one of the above methods of installing B9S and CFW, so downgrading is pointless. You only have the above three options. Period.

What would you recommend to do? I’m doing This on a 2DS and dont have acces to special tools since I’m only 12. I need something that I can do that’s somewhat basic or something?

The ntrboot method and the Seedminer method are both pretty simple if you can follow instructions. The Seedminer method is cheaper.
