I'm really stumped on this one, like an above poster I would say make sure you're not using an SDHC card, but if you tried a 32MB it obviously isn't. Like yafaiz said, try updating your Wii U. Other than that all I can say is try a new SD card.

I don't have type of hard drive connected.
The console is running the latest system menu.
I just tried the bathax exploit and again everything works until the final installation step of hbc then the system crash.

Any peripherals connected? What remote/controller are you using? HDMI connection? Type of SD card(s) (sdhc?)? IOS ver? Channels installed?

Since you are an anomaly I suggest you document everything in your setup, this way if anybody else hits the same issue then there will be a way to find common ground.

Good idea.
Console has no extra peripherals connected. Using hdmi connection and third party wiimote and nunchuk (collective minds brand).
Console is running 2.1.0U system menu. Has Netflix and HuluPlus channels installed. No channels installed on vWii side.
I have used Sandisk brand of sd cards (32mb, 64mb, 256mb, 1gb and 2gb).
Exploits used: Smashstack, Indianapwns, and Bathax.

Good to know for future use, also should probably be added to any tutorials so no one else has the same issue.
