Sorry to hear about the soft brick. But since it sounds like only a soft brick, recovery mode should work. Follow this video.

Wait, why are you installing a Gateway a9lh setup? I wouldn't do that if I was you, their a9lh setup is risky and doesn't offer FIRM protection.

If you try and update in Gateway Mode you'll brick!

I'd recommend following httpwww://3DS.guide to the letter, once finished you can launch Gateway Mode via Luma's payload chaining feature.

I think Ned posted something on his twitter but i'm not really sure of what he means... Does it mean that i can no use it on Old3ds?

I hope we get FBI+Fasthax soon i want to install all the legit tickets and then download them from eshop when i have time so i can close homebrew

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
