Hacking Installing a CFW on 3.0.0-6U

I want to install homebrew and a CFW on a 3.0.0-6U. Do I need Cubic Ninja to do so? Can I install homebrew through the browser exploit?

Your firmware is not the same as his.
First, you need to update your console to 4.1-9.2 with a game.

you need to find a cartridge on firm 4.1 - 4.5 (maybe up to 9.2 but i wouldn't risk it with that low browser vers)

go to http://3dsdb.com/
and type in the search box any of the following strings
4.5 usa
4.4 usa
4.3 usa
4.1 usa

and get a game on the list. i would try to avoid popular first party nintendo games (mario, zelda, etc) as they might contain reprints of later firm versions.
