Hacking Install LEGIT CIAs on 9.6 SysNand ?

Hi,

my syster bought 2 New 3DS Xl for her kids, the older got the Majora's Mask edition while the younger got a normal one (no pre-installed games) and he want it, like his elder brother of course ^^

Is it possible to backup the MM CIA and install it to the other one (with or without additionnal stuff) ? they both have fully up-to-date devices.

Since Sky3DS still work with firmware 9.6 can I load BigBlueMenu (or BigRedMenu since it will be legit CIA) to archieve this ?

Nope, only 9.2 or below can install .cias.

Sky3DS is only able to load correctly signed ROMs. That means clean cartridge dumps only, no dev tools, homebrew or eShop dumps.
And that's not likely to change any time soon.
However, if you have a hacked console (with GW) you can install legit CIAs (but you'd have to find a legit CIA dump of MM3D somewhere) on emuNAND and system transfer to the 9.6 console. This requires that there's no NNID added to the target system however.
