If I had to guess, Gamecock gave them an early look at Insecticide to perhaps keep up the momentum that the publisher is now enjoying due to the undeserved success of Dementium (

Wow, that's pretty amazing that you're so pissed off about the save function that you have to complain about it in threads about other games. I'm surprised how many times I've seen you complaining. When I sit down to run through the original Super Mario Bros, I don't get pissed because there isn't a save function. Same thing with Ikaruga, the game is hard, you just have to get through it. I can't wait to hear what you think of the new contra if it functions at all like the originals.

I think it's pretty amazing that you are keeping track. But making a passing comment like "undeserved success" isn't exactly a diatribe about the game. However, Insecticide is also being published by Gamecock, so mentioning Dementium doesn't seem like an unrelated matter.

But whatever...

Just to be clear though, I'm not "pissed," I'm disappointed. I had high hopes for Dementium, and it didn't pan out for me. But feel free to continue to keep track of my posts. This way if I ever need to recount something I might have said I can just come to you as a sort of archive.

Know what's sad? Insecticide's save functions are pretty messed up too. Ever hear of a point-and-click style adventure where you -can't- save anytime? I was halfway through the second one, got stuck, went to 'quit' expecting a save option (as there wasn't one in the menu), and it only autosaved right before that segment. I had to redo quite a bit when I started it up later.

Not broken like Dementium's, but damn annoying.
