But how did you install it on rednand?
sysconfigtool.
Great! Is there any place i could find the SysConfigTool and the program for opening the files in the VC games?

Probably recompressed it and WUP installer.
Uh.. Try searching for a pastebin for that. iAqua's maybe?

I used NEW NUS Grabber GUI to decrypt titles (in NUS/installable format) to the "Loadiine" format.
I use create master to re-encrypt titles from "Loadiine" format back to an encrypted and installable format.

Cafe/sdk? Replacing the rom & repackaging it back to nus? Similar to the way you can change the region of nus/eshop games
That's pretty much it, yeah.

I wish I could use the SDK ...
fuck me

You can have the SDK with a Nintendo developer account, it's free and fast, just fill the account registration with your "real" information (i heard that they don't check ;-) )

I guess I kind of got it working on the home menu?
Had to use the original meta stuff for it to work though. If I tried modifying to the meta folder so it can say it's Soul Silver, it would install a corrupt title and it would only be launchable from sysconfigtool.

If you want me to, i can help test this out. Another question, do you think it would be possible to make a tool to automate this process?

I'm currently using the batch file which I got from this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-setup-rednand-w-sigpatches.446818/
However, it requires the SDK. Right now, it's as easy as it gets, I guess :P It'll probably be possible once someone gets it completely working with a title change and icon change.
As for testing things out, sure I guess? Do you use Discord or something? :p
wonderful job
thanks :)

Progress report!
Tried a different game as I kinda got tired of Soul Silver lol.
Going back to editing the meta folder, it corrupts the title on the home menu again; however, by repacking the game with a different tool, I managed change the title! So instead of "Brain Age", as you can see, it says "Apollo Justice" The icon is still corrupt for some reason, and if I check my friends list it still thinks I'm playing Brain Age :P
I think that's more of a title ID issue, which I will look into until I fully get it working on the home menu with a working icon :)

Have you made any more progress? I can help test, i also have an idea about doing SNES/N64/NES/GBA injects with the SDK tools.

Kinda. I 100% figured out what was causing it not to work from the home menu. It was the icon texture. If you include no texture, or the original game's icon texture, the game can be booted from the home menu!
I just need to know how to properly how to change the icon. I manged to change the title though (while on the home menu).
Just PM me your Discord or something :p we can work on stuff together after school.

As much as I'd like to see something like that, my hopes aren't that high given that RedNAND is a must for VC game installation to USB or SysNAND.
The 3DS initially started out by requiring redNAND and now look where it is...

It just depends on if someone finds a boot time exploit or not...

coldboothax would at least help the redNAND situation (having to boot the web browser EVERY TIME...)
