I got this F card a while ago, but I know very little about it.
All I know is how to put games into it and play the games.
I'd like to know about it's firmwares and stuff like that.

Any info about it would be very appreciated.

The F-card is a clone of the N-card it can use all the firmwares from the clones, i personnaly use the latset N-card firmware for my DSfirecard which is lasoa clone of the N-card.

OK, thanks.
So I could just download the latest firmware and update my card with it?

Another question:
When I was playing Harvest Moon DS once, starting up the game, the save file, for some reason, got erased and it created a new file instead of just updating it.
Why did this happen?
(This also happened to a friend of mine, except he was playing MegaMan Star Force Dragon)

Also, what's the method for updating the card?
Since this is different form the N-Card, it doesn't have that slot-2 thingy I've heard about.

The beauty of the F-Card - and the main difference to other cloes - is that it comes with its own USB writer that looks alot like the G6 Real's. The writer supposedly works significantly faster than the Slot-2 adapter. I've never owned a 'classic' N-Card but I just received my F-Card the other day, which I had ordered specifically because of the writer. And it really does work well. I might just buy another classic N-Card, since I suppose I can use the F-Card's writer on all of them.

*Edited: I misunderstood your question..*

Nevermind! I thought you were wondering how to flash games to the cart. Updating the card works the same. Download the Bios and the menu and overwrite the existing ones via the writer.

Does the f-card have a website like some of the other clones? I'm interested to know if the writer works with Mac's unlike the slot 2 writer of other cards which fails to work correctly.

I would get one to try it myself but I have not seen it available locally.

I know that they have a Chinese site but no English, I think.
If you wanna check it out it's: http://www.dsfirelink.com/MAIN/
